Privacy Policy
Updated regularly. Remind Bot is built for inbox people who care about privacy.
Data we store
- Your signup email, timezone preference, and subscription status.
- Reminder details: subject, parsed message, reminder time, source link, and a short summary/snippet.
- Message metadata used for threading/deduplication (e.g., message-id hashes).
- Delivery metadata (timestamps, success/failure) to keep reminders reliable.
How reminders are processed
We parse forwarded emails to extract the task, timing, and useful links. Raw emails are only used to generate your reminder and to send confirmations and reminders.
If details are missing (dates, links), we may search the web to fill them in. When configured, we may use Google Gemini to assist parsing; outputs are only used to create your reminders.
Summaries and reminder details are stored so we can confirm and send the reminder you asked for.
What we do not do
- No tracking pixels in any emails we send.
- No selling or sharing data with advertisers or data brokers.
- No third-party analytics on the product or marketing emails.
Retention and deletion
Reminders stay in the system until they have been delivered. After delivery we keep them briefly for reliability checks, then delete. You can request deletion of your account and reminders anytime at [email protected].
Third parties
Stripe handles payments and shares subscription status, not card numbers. AWS SES/SNS/S3 process inbound and outbound email. When enabled, Google Gemini may assist with parsing. We do not use ad networks.
